On 13th and 14th March 2017, the Japanese Ministry of the Interior (MIC) held the International Forum Toward AI Network Society.

The Institute of Legal Informatics participated very successfully once again in the International Symposion of Legal Informatics (IRIS) which, this year, took place from the 23rd to 25th February in Salzburg.

The Institute of Legal Informatics will have its own stand at the »elektrotechnik« electrical engineering trade fair in Dortmund from 15th to 17th February 2017.

In his recent legal opinion published in the legal publication JurPC, Stefan Hessel, a research assistant working for the Institute Director Prof. Dr. Christoph Sorge, has set out why the children’s doll "My friend Cayla" qualifies as an illegal transmitter.

The 2nd German-Franco Digital Conference, which was concluded by speeches from Francois Hollande and Angela Merkel, took place in Berlin on 13. December 2016.
