The Institute of Legal Informatics will have its own stand at Saarland University’s Open Day which will take place on 24th June 2017. We will be presenting various projects including GesetzMobil" (legislation on-the-go) and a project relating to data security in automated houses.

At the workshop entitled "Data Protection and Data Security for media companies" which was held on 22nd May 2017 in Berlin, Prof. Dr. Sorge highlighted ways of achieving cyber security.

Prof. Dr. Sorge sought to answer these questions at a symposium organised by the Institute of European Media Law in Berlin on 24th April 2017.

On 8th May 2017, Prof. Dr. Sorge gave a lecture at a conference held by the National Academy of Science and Engineering (acatech) in Berlin. The theme of the conference was "legal challenges faced by Industy 4.0".

On 13th and 14th March 2017, the Japanese Ministry of the Interior (MIC) held the International Forum Toward AI Network Society.
