At the workshop entitled "Data Protection and Data Security for media companies" which was held on 22nd May 2017 in Berlin, Prof. Dr. Sorge highlighted ways of achieving cyber security.

The workshop, which was organised by the Institute of European Media Law in co-operation with the Federal Association of German newspaper publishers, the working group of private radio broadcasters and the Association of Private Radio Broadcasters and Telemedia e.V., was aimed at management boards, publishing managers, studio managers as well as those responsible for IT and those responsible for advertising in media companies, publishers, radio broadcasting and telemedia.
