On June 11, Professor Georg Borges gave a lecture on topic of "Liability for smart products which develop after being put on the market" at the 6th Münster Colloquium. The main topic of the colloquium was the legal issues surrounding smart products. The online event was organized by the Center for European Private Law at the University of Münster.

Smart products that include digital elements or are connected to digital services raise many questions regarding the application of the Product Liability Directive. Once again, the two-day event brought together renowned researchers who explored the questions of how smart products can be incorporated into current concepts of contract law and how they can be used in legal and commercial practice.
